• WorkSafe SmartMove helps young people learn essential work health and safety (WHS) skills for the workplace

    This upgraded learning platform includes new features such as refresher training and recertification to help keep your knowledge up to date.

    It’s designed for senior high school students, young people completing work placements or work experience, school-based trainees and apprentices, and anyone starting their first job or working in casual, part-time, or seasonal roles.

    Industry Certificate

    A structured program that builds your general WHS knowledge and industry-specific skills. You'll begin with the General Module and then complete at least one Industry Module to receive your certificate.

    Alternative Learning

    A shorter and more accessible course that introduces core WHS concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand format. It can be completed on its own or used as a pathway into the Industry Certificate.

    Information Sessions

    Short learning sessions that explore current, emerging, or industry-specific WHS topics. You’ll receive a participation certificate after completing a session.


    SmartMove helps young learn how to spot hazards, manage risks, and stay safe at work. It provides the confidence and practical skills you need when starting a new job, work placement, or workplace activity.
